During production, the filter screen can become clogged with contaminants, causing pressure to rise. Traditional screen changes require stopping the line, severely impacting efficiency. This production line is equipped with a belt-type screen changer that allows smooth, rapid screen changes without stopping or slowing the extruder. By moving the filter belt continuously or stepwise, it achieves "screen change while producing," significantly reducing production interruptions and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The screen changer has a heating power of 8.4KW to maintain melt temperature during the change. It is especially suitable for long-running, large-scale production lines, eliminating the need to frequently start and stop the equipment for screen changes.
